Sneak Peek: Doo.Ri’s Gorgeous for Macy’s Impulse Capsule Collection
I hate the gratuitous amount of videos devoted to Sh*t Girls “__” Say, including Sh*t Fashion Girls Say, if for no other reason that certain phrases have now become a bit cliche; but here we go: we are obsessed with Doo-Ri Chung’s Impulse collection for Macy’s. Judge all you want but this collection is absolutely darling. Doo-Ri, a New York-based designer who counts first Lady Michelle Obama (among others) as a fan, designed a 33-piece capsule collectionthat is reminiscent of her Ready-to-Wear collection under her Doo.Ri label. So basically it is sophisticated, classic, highly wearable, and oh so pretty.Expect a great selection of cocktail dresses as well as knit maxi dresses (including some cool color-block dresses). Also, look for fun tanks and tees as well as cute and work-friendly blouses and our favorite lace-detail jacket.
The limited-edition capsule drops on February 15 at 185 Macy’s stores and on line and will retail for as low as $39 to as high as $159. Below a peek at some pieces from the collection.
