Surface to Air Opens Soho Flagship Store
French Label, Surface to Air, recently opened their first store in America in the heart of New York. The flagship boutique on Mercer Street was designed collaboration with architect Frederico Masotto and its very impressive. The 2500 square-foot space uses materials marble, concrete, wood and slate to create a stylish and edgy atmosphere to display the French company’s full line of men’s and women’s collections.
To celebrate the grand opening Surface to Hair hosted a VIP soirée, welcoming guests to a fabulous star studded cocktail party flowing with champagne by Moët & Chandon and Belvedere vodka cocktails. Music by Justin Miller, Neon Indian, and Josh Language set the mood for a hip crowd to mingle among stars such as Heron Preston, Eve Therond, Olaf Breuning, Kate Schelter, and Anne Pasternak.
Following this exclusive event, guests continued to B Bar on East 4th Street for dancing and performances by Chromeo, A-Trak and Busy P & Friends.
