Liberty of London for Target Pop-up Shop is Open for Business!

The Liberty of London for Target collection will officially launch this Sunday, March 14 (so mark your calendar print lovers) but lucky New Yorkers can get a sneak peek and shop NOW at the temporary pop-up shop.  The temporary pop-shop located at 1095 Sixth Ave and right across from Bryant Park; a  fitting for location such a fashionable line and best all affordable line, which I simple adore.   The Liberty of London collection is extra special because it truly has something for everyone in the family–unlike say the Jean Paul Gautier which only has pieces for women.  This line has pieces for  men, woman, children and even home goods and  even printed bikes.

The wide array of choices for the ENTIRE family and affordability perhaps explains why eager New Yorkers lined up early yesterday morning with lines wrapped around the block when the pop-op opened yesterday.  However,  before the pop-up officially opened to the public, Target held a special preview for a select few, including spokesperson Naomi Watts who went unnoticed as she shopped the collection.

Needless,  to say I was lucky to attend the special preview and shop the collection and I was so happy that I avoided the long lines of shoppers.  But, that also means, I had more time to shop and spend more money mind you a received a $50 gift card when I came in yet I still spend a lot.  I was drawn the prints and  the pop-up shop was felt so serene for a moment I thought I was shopping for a beach vacation.

The collection is so versatile – with cute summer dresses, adorable clothes for babies and children;  and really interesting print collar shirts for men.    Interestingly enough, these shirt are HOT commodity right now and what everyone seems to love the most about the collection.  As of this morning the Men collection was GONE, reports racked.com.   How is that even possible? But, get in there before its all gone.

Kristin Davis Attends New York Moves Magazine Spring Issue Party

A stunning Kristin Davis dressed in a gorgeous Balenciaga gown attends her cover party for the New York Moves Magazine party at Ethan Ellan.  The issue is devoted to fashion and with her stint on the uber popular Sex and the City we think its something she knows a little about.

Speaking of Sex and the City- Kristin Davis, will join Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall,  and Cynthia Nixon on March 18th to receive the film ensemble of the year gong at America’s ShoWest on March 18.

Badichi Store Opens in NYC – Get Your Belt

Have you ever thought to yourself : Today, I want to design a custom belt–  Is that even possible? Strange as it may seem, the thought never crossed my mind either.  Weird, I know!  However, the very smart people behind Badichi did and recently launched their first American store in Soho (159 Prince Street) devoted to the art of creating a custom belt.

Though, Badichi is new to America is not new to the people from Israel where the concept originally launched.   They started with a simple concept– first choose from the wide selection of belts and buckles,  then get measured and lastly get your belt made.   The best part is that take two minutes to have a belt made once you are measured.  Yes, seriously.  It takes much longer to decide how to design your belt than to actually make it.  I know because I “made” my own belt and it took me forever to decide what I wanted.

After all the back and forth, I went for a simple skinny red-belt with a classic buckle.  Actually,  its kinda boring!  Though, I loved it because I made it to liking.

You however can go wild with your belt.  And, they are tons of buckles to choose from– there’s your beautiful design buckle which are individually designed by an Israeli designer,  your animals,  your cooky sayings, your rocker chic, and your “classic” design.   And, choosing the right buckle can take as much time as choosing your belt.  Its a fun nightmare of choices.

Amber Rose Spotted in Miami Beach

Kanye West Future Ex-Wife, though commonly known as “Amber Rose” was spotted in Miami over the weekend doing what she does best: dressing crazy.  She needs to fire her stylist and I don’t care if she is her own stylist.  You are fired!

Also, am I the only baffled by her friend with the same “hairstyle,”  as Kanye West Future Ex-Wife?  And, why is her friend trying to hide from the paps?  Is that her jump-off? Now, I am not the one to gossip but………..

Tyra Banks Attends CW Premiere Party

The CW reality shows stars were on hand at Simyone Lounge to celebrate the premiere of their upcoming shows on the Network.

Cameras were rolling as they caught all the happenings like reality stars mingling amongst the famous and the less famous.   And, maybe they were taping for “High Society?“  One of their newest reality shows about the lives of busy socialites.  Show cast member, Tinsley Mortimer, and her sister were spotted making their rounds after flash happy photogs snapped hundreds of pictures.   TFR also spotted former American Idol, Constantine Maroulis who was channeling his inner Adam Lambert in his dark mascara and was supporting his “play” girlfriend at the premiere party.  Who is his current flavor of the month now? TFR needs to catch-up on reality TV drama.

We have a suspicion that Maroulis was not on hand to support The Fly Girls who were also in attendance in their crisp white shirts and grey pencil skirt with super cute red neck scare. “The Fly Girls” is also another new show on the CW; it centers around a group of female flight attendants.  How juicy will this show be? Which fabulous celeb will join the Mile High Club or get escorted off a plane for carrying a wide load? We’ll be watching.

One thing is certain, Vogue Editor-at-Large, André Leon Talley and newest of judge of CW’s hugely popular ANTM franchise is a ham.  He was spotted posing for the camera’s fierce like.  He  showed seasoned ANTM judges, Nigel Barker and Jay Manuel a thing or two about working the camera.  Tyra Banks who was the last of the reality stars to arrive, joined the trio for a quick snapshot before mingling with guests and dancing.  She was then seen talking to guests and enjoying herself, like me.

High Society and ANTM will premiere on March 10, 2010.
