I received my Baby-G watch as a gift from my husband and ever since I have been in love with this watch.  From my understanding the Baby G watches are water resistant, offer world time, come in a wide range of colors/styles, as well as a host of other wonderful pluses. The Baby-G is not only nice to look at but it is also very stylish. I was surprised to see that this stylish watch offers so much more.

The Baby G collection offers enough styles to suit any taste; from the ultra femme to business chic and everything in between.  Most of Baby-G watches have a very modern flare that are very eye catching.  That being said what I love the most about this watch- is that it is very durable. My little one has gotten a hold of my watch more than once but amazingly the watch is still intact.  Do you see why, I can vouch for Casio’s G-shock Baby-G Watch?  Casio created a technology that is supposed to make these watches withstand a lot of life’s wear and tear.

Lastly to answer the question on your mind especially during this trying recession time – how much is this going to cost me?  Well, I’m sure you will be happy to know that these watches are
very affordable with prices starting at $79.  Don’t get me wrong, they are some watches form the line that can be a little pricey.  But you will find that the watch is well worth the money.

Baby G has all the making to withstand time, an adventurous life, or your toddler.

Anya Hindmarch – Long Live the High Line!

I told you about the first party on the High Line and what an amazing fete it was. I then told you about the High Line and Target event  and that too  from all accounts was event not to have missed. Iman Hosts Sam Fine Makeup DVD Launch

In better late than never news. I recently attended Sam Fine’s makeup DVD launch party.  Sam Fine, a celebrity makeup artist with many supporters and followers drew a huge crowd all hoping to learn some beauty tips. The event which was held at the plaza was packed and HOT.  I mean that literally and figuratively.  It was so crowded that I was sweating within twenty minutes of me being there and I don’t sweat. However, the sweat was well worth it.

The crowd was unbelievably beautiful; I take it they listen to Sam Fine. Note to self: Buy a copy of the DVD, one day.

Guests drank the specialty cocktails which surprisingly were very good and tasted like juice. You know that’s not a good sign and combine with the heat, let’s just say people where having “fun.”  While, everyone was drinking, I was waiting for the guests of hour – Iman and Sam Fine.  It was so crowded that it was nearly impossible to see who was coming and going. So, I just decided to make my way to red carpet.

The first person I see on the red carpet: “How you doing” AKA Wendy Williams!  “How you doing,” was loving the attention.  For a moment I thought the party (and I think she did too) was for her, that is until Sam Fine showed up. He demonstrated how to properly walk the red-carpet. FIERCE.  In all the commotions I missed Iman, boo.

Oh well, I did get see Korto from Project Runway, in my opinion the true celebrity of the night (yeah, yeah I know I am biased) but she was robbed of her win. There I said it. I did mention this to her and she was genuinely touched so much so that she gave me a big hug.  It was sweet.

Anyways, did I say it was hot? It got the point that I could no longer take it so I left. Sadly it was before I was able to score a gift bag which included Iman make-up.
