Lady Gaga New V Magazine Spread “A Year in the Life”

The FAB! has just receive advance images of Lady Gaga’s new spread for V Magazine. This is a repeat appearance for the just dance singer on the magazine. Her previous spread was well “interesting” – that’s all I will say about it, but true to Lady Gaga’s personal style. This spread, however, is vastly different and offers fans a small glimpse into Lady Gaga’s life.

“A Year in the Life,” as officially recounted by Lady Gaga’s own Fashion Director and best friend, Nicola Formichetti, chronicles the singer’s rise to fashion and music royalty. The spread also attempts to provide an insight into the unique style that both Lady GaGa and Nicola Formichetti have become famous for. The feature will include 15 Gaga moments as told by Nicola Formichetti

The V MAGAZINE, V67, hit newsstands on September 2^nd but we have images of the entire spread.

Get Ready for the Target Kaleidoscopic Fashion Spectacular

Get your beach blankets and lawn-chairs ready because Target is taking The Standard Hotel and creating a one of a kinda fashion exhibition. The “Target Kaleidoscopic Fashion Spectacular,” scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday 18), promises a Broadway type show with dazzling neon lights, and a score of dancers performing a routine to an original music score. If that’s wasn’t enough, Target, is will use 155 (yes 155) rooms at The Standard hotel – so that 66 dancers adorned in the latest styles and hippest fashion can perform the synchronized routine along with fast-paced lighting patterns that matches the original music score.

The VIP invited guests including, Nina Garcia, Olivia Palermo, Tinsley Mortimer, Simon Doonan, Emma Snowdon-Jones, Ally Hilfiger, and Hayley Bloomingdale, will enjoy the show from inside the hotel. Don’t have an invitation?  Do not worry because Target will also create a simultaneous presentation that will take place at the street level of the hotel where models wearing 25 of the hottest looks from the fall Target lineup will appear in a nine-room replica stage that mirrors the windows of the hotel.

Can’t make it to either celebration? Don’t worry because Target will live-stream the entire event on its Facebook page And, even more the company also will have a toll-free number where anyone can call to listen to the musical score live (866-500-5046).

Susan Sarandon Wants to End Sex Trafficking and You can Help

Last Friday, actress and activist Susan Sarandon, joined Somaly Mam, one of Nick’s heroes for a special press conference hosted by The Body Shop to kick off the  second phase of Stop Sex Trafficking Campaign.  The ‘Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Young People‘ aims to raise awareness on the wide spread practice of sexual slavery. The practice is so far reaching that even in America young people are not immune to its effects and practices.

This the second phase of the campaign.  This phase supports legislation to eliminate the sex trafficking of children and young people worldwide; by making Safe Harbor Laws the norm across the nation (currently only New York, Connecticut and Washington State have them). These laws are needed to protect children and young adults under 18 from being charged, prosecuted or imprisoned for prostitution.

The Body Shop wants to do something and they want your help. Starting today, the company is launching an online petition via a special site for the national creation of safe harbor laws. The Website will all any visitor to sign the petition via the Web site electronically.

But, that’s not all that the body shop is doing to end sexual slavery. The company will continue to donate the proceeds from the Soft Hands, Kind Heart Hand Cream and Bag for Life products to the Somaly Mam Foundation and to End Child Prostitution and Trafficking (ECPAT).

V Magazine Heats up with “Pin-Up Girls” and “Spanish Bombshells”

Whew – we’ve got some super steamy images from V Magazine’s “The Sexy Body Issue” scheduled to hit newsstands this Thursday.

The images from the  “Pin-Up Girls” and “Spanish Bombshells,” spread are so caliente – you may not want to view them at work, unless of course your boss is a fan of sexy  famous models.

The “Pinup Girls,” spread  was photographed by Frank de Blase and features models Ana Beatriz, Bette Frank, Candice Swanepoel, Hilary Rhoda, Kim Cloutier and Tori Praver. While, the “Spanish Bombshells” spread was shot by photographer Txema Yeste with models Marina Perez, Clara Lago, Sheila Marquez and Bimba Bosé.
