Whew – we’ve got some super steamy images from V Magazine’s “The Sexy Body Issue” scheduled to hit newsstands this Thursday.

The images from the  “Pin-Up Girls” and “Spanish Bombshells,” spread are so caliente – you may not want to view them at work, unless of course your boss is a fan of sexy  famous models.

The “Pinup Girls,” spread  was photographed by Frank de Blase and features models Ana Beatriz, Bette Frank, Candice Swanepoel, Hilary Rhoda, Kim Cloutier and Tori Praver. While, the “Spanish Bombshells” spread was shot by photographer Txema Yeste with models Marina Perez, Clara Lago, Sheila Marquez and Bimba Bosé.

And, like last-year, Carrera delivered on their promise “…to serve as the ultimate retreat.”  But, what else would you expect from makers of such cool wares?

One would think the high-temperature would scare any proper sun-hater away but most guests (myself included) lazily lounged around the beautiful (and HOT) sun-deck.  And, why not? There was fun to be had.   I spotted many attendees – sitting in beach chairs, with Carrera beach towels clearly visible, with drinks in hand, and with magazines by their side;  all while listening to the music that constantly played in the background.  The set of rotating DJs helped create and maintain a relaxed and fun vibe.  While, all the DJs did their “thang” my favorite was DJ Mia Moretti, who along with violinist Caitlin Moe, roused the crowd with their impressive renditions of pop songs played along the violin.  For those who chose to stay away from the sun, they had a range of activities to choose from. And, judging by the long-wait for services just as many took advantage of the manicure services, mini-makeover, massages and blow-outs.

Once again Carrera did a wonderful job with creating a true summer escape. Sadly, for us New Yorkers, Carrera has left us for good but that’s good news to some of you – as the Summer Escape may be coming to a city near you. So, don’t miss the fun. I wouldn’t.

Just months after given birth to her first daughter,Valentina, with Husband Marko Jarić, the cheeky Victoria Secret Angel is baring her flat-post-baby stomach for V Magazine’s Spain edition – the first ever foreign edition.  The fabulous Adriana Lima’s cover was shot by fame photographer Mario Sorrenti and styled by Andrew Richardson.

In addition the haute mom spread,”The Sexy Body Issue,” will include 50 of the hottest bodies in the world. Don’t all run to your newest magazine shop at once.

Scarlett Johansson makes an appearance on the “The Summer Scorcher issue,” V Magazine (issue #65), in a stunning spread shot by famed photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

The V Magazine cover model and the new face of Dolce & Gabbana Beauty, discusses her role on Iron Man 2; why she feels like a grown up; and, describes how hard it is to look like a movie star.

* On her role in Iron Man 2: “It’s not that she’s non-feeling, she just gets the job done. She’s part of something bigger, and she knows it. She’s this crazy bad-ass, and she has no time for f-cking around.”

* On feeling like a grownup: “I’m 25, and for some time I’ve played these characters who are a kind of figuring it out, transforming from young girls to young women . . . I don’t feel like a girl anymore. And I feel like my life and career are on a different path than they had been. There’s a lot of road behind me. I feel at this point I really want to do work that is challenging to me. Not to say that I don’t look at my job and realize that I’m ridiculously fortunate, and purely an actor for hire. You never forget that it’s all so vulnerable.”

* On what it takes to look like a movie star: “It’s all in a day’s work for me. Working with these incredible hair and makeup teams, you go in looking like a schmoe, and you come out like a movie star. You go through the works, and then you’re like this perfectly prepared sausage . . . no one ever sees what goes in.”
