Today’s find comes courtesy of Diesel -  known for their innovative denim designs and fresh looks, this find is no different.  The Matic 8B3, which retails for $250 takes your original and often boring denim and treats and warps to create a funky, distressed worn-in look.   Additionally, the jean has is a super slim, skinny fit and features a low waist for a super sexy look.   While, the back design features a curved yoke with small back packets so your butt gets the attention it deserves.

Spring Into Diesel’s 2010 Spring Collection

What’s 20,000 square feet and encumbers over three floors??? It’s Diesel’s New York City Flagship store located on Lexington Avenue. I had the opportunity to attend their exclusive preview of the Spring 2010 collection. As soon as you hit the door, you heard the bass of the club music coming from the second floor. Once you reached the top of the stairs you could see through the glass walls (which covered the entire store) and gives you a great New York City view especially during the evening– with all the pretty lights. I proceeded in that direction only to be greeted by a pleathra of clothing in both men’s & women’s line. This event was full of models, media, & many fashionable shoppers which were intrigued by the collection and already began making purchases! Everyone was all smiles as they perused through the new garments while sipping on the complimentary drinks of beer and wine. Diesel’s latest collection is full of comfortable short sleeved shirts including some tee’s and well as slim fitting pants & jeans. The live models oozed a comfortable edgy look that is great for the weekends and the night life. If you are looking for that fresh hipster look be sure to drop by 60th and Lexington and take a peek!

Diesel Spring 2010 Preview Party

The Diesel Party is Almost Here and The Bracelets are GONE

Did you find “THE BARON?” Well, if you were lucky enough to meet “The Baron”  for the Diesel party then you are in luck because the event gearing to be a good night of fun. Past, Diesel parties include performances by a very pregnant MIA, N.E.R.D.’s Pharrell Williams and Baltimore MC Rye Rye.  The truth is no one knows what to expect in terms of performances but one thing is for certain the event will be good.

“The Baron,” is a Metamorphmagus.  And, he or she took advantage of these special powers to transform into many different people.  For me  “The Baron” was a young blond man but for others “The Baron” was an African American woman and while some where to “weirded” out by experience to accurately describe “The Baron”

Common Hosts “Diesel Only The Brave” Concert in NYC

Common, AKA as “my boo” hosted a concert in NYC to promote his cologne with Diesel – “Only the Brave.”  The concert was held at the super hot club Capitale with a huge turnout despite the rain and awful weather.   The concert was scheduled to start at 9 PM but of course that didn’t happen and the concert started at 1030.

The concert tickets where obtained at Macys with the purchase of the perfume of $117.50 or more. The purchase entitled customers to two tickets.  And, it included complentary drinks for the guests.

Of course when Common hit the stages the mood instantly changed and everyone was screaming like a giddy school girls – including me. Yeah, I am the girl.  That said Common gave an amazing concert that was filled with tons of energy.  At one point he called a woman to the stage and sang to her.  How lucky is she?  She seem to love it and was the envy of many of the woman in the audience.  He continued his performance and even freestyled much to crowds delight and mine too.

All in all, a great performance.  In addition to Common other celebrities in attendance include were Oliva Palermo, Sessilee Lopez and Michelle Trachtenberg.
