Kanye West Attacks Fashion Bloggers and PETA

Kanye West was at it again. He went on a cap locks attack at fashion bloggers and PETA. You know, he loves his cap locks and sure makes used of them.

He rants, “WHEN IT’S ALL SAID AND DONE, REMEMBER THE FEARLESS, REMEMBER THE DREAMERS, REMEMBER THOSE WHO REPRESENT THE GHETTO…THE FAIRY TALE OF NOTHING TO SOMETHING. I’M BRIEFLY SADDENED BY NEGATIVE COMMENTS, BUT I HAVE TO REMEMBER THOSE PEOPLE ARE SCARED, INCAPABLE OR JUST PLAIN IDIOTS. WE ARE THE FUCKING ROCK STARS BABY. NO COCAINE, JUST LIFE MY NIGGAS!! NO COCAINE, JUST LIFE!”

He further says, “IT’S FUNNY TO ME WHEN FASHION BLOGGERS DOWN OUR OUTFITS AND THEN SUPER JOCK OUTLANDISH SHIT ON THE RUNWAY BUT THEN THEY DRESS MAD PRUDE AND DON’T LIVE FASHION. WE LIVE IT MAN. FUCK THAT, WE LIVE IT!!! WE LIVE IT SO HARD PEOPLE LIVE THROUGH US!”

Now, Kanye, boo, sometimes your outfits need to be called out and those of Amber Rose. Do I need to show pictures of her frolicking in the beach in dental floss bikini in front of CHILDREN? Now that’s rude. Think of the children? Or, let’s discuss your O.J. Simpson gloves at the Grammies a few years ago. What were you thinking then? That’s so not fashion. That’s just plain ole craziness.

I am not one to question anyone’s fashion sense, for I have had my share of ‘what was she thinking?’ moments. I’m still trying to comprehend my visor with flashing lights that I wore to school. True story!

Sometimes someone needs to tell you about yourself.

Case and point, Kanye writes, “THE NEW BLACK???” SINCE BARACK IS PRESIDENT BLACKS DON’T LIKE FUR COATS, RED LEATHER, AND FRIED CHICKEN ANY MORE?! WHEN YOU TRULY UNDERSTAND CULTURAL SETTINGS, BOUNDARIES, AND OUR MODERN DAY CASTE SYSTEMS, THEN YOU CAN FEEL THE GLORY AND PAIN FROM THE DAYS OF KINGS IN AFRICA TO THE NEW KINGS OF THE MEDIA. LET THE BALL PLAYERS DANCE AFTER THEY SCORE! IT’S LIFE MY NIGGAS, IT’S LIFE! REMEMBER CLOTHING IS A CHOICE. WE WERE BORN NAKED!!!”

What’s wrong with you, Kanye? Leave Barack alone. Besides, you know PETA is gonna come at you.

It was no surprise when PETA Vice President, Dan Mathews, said in a statement on the blog post, “Kanye can’t help making himself look like an idiot, whether at an awards show or a fashion show… He and his girlfriend look like pathetic creatures from a shabby roadside zoo.”

Kanye, shrug.

Persona Magazine Launch Party at Griffin

Amber Rose (AKA Kanye West future ex-wife), Kanye West, Russell Simmons and others were on hand for Persona magazine official release party at Griffin.  According to the press release Persona Magazine a new digital and print magazine  that “will speak to and reflect the thoughts and emotions of critical and creative thinkers of the current mixed generation. With the blues of urban angst and the hues of high fashion, the abstract greens and browns of the underground and eclectic purple sound of electronica, PERSONA Magazine is the prism that enables this generation to view a full spectrum of expression, from the collective conscience to individual awakenings.”  Uhm.. yeah another magazine.

The party which was held in the middle of fashion week was jammed packed with fashionable folks -  no surprise there as the day before the event an email was sent which asked guests to dress fashionable.  Yes, really!   I guess the response was huge to attend the magazine launch party because we were also told to bring ID and business cards to prove our identity.  So, I was very apprenhsive about attending the event as I was frankly scared by the requests.  Fear aside and courage in hand I made my way to the party which was actually a lot of fun.  I partied and dance the night away well until 10 when I was tired from fashion week and made my way home.

I did spy Kanye West pre-VMA freakout with cover girl who was wearing the skin tight body suits  both of whom where there for like 15 minutes. I ask you where does she get them? Though, I must say that the next day I did see some body suits and I find myself thinking: Amber would like that.  Like I even know her.

Anyways, also in attendance was Janice Dickson, Teyana Taylor and of course all the fabulous guests.

Sneakers Lovers: This One is For You

Hopefully, you were lucky and were able to get your hands or feet on the Louis Vuitton special edition Kanye West sneakers because they were sold before they hit the shelves. Rumors suggested the sneakers would make their way to stores by the end of this year so imagine our surprise when we heard the sneakers were shipped  last week.  And, by stores I mean the lucky customers that were able to place an for the sneakers BEFORE they even made into the stores.

If you were not lucky enough to get them, I am sorry. I too am sad and I don’t even wear sneakers.   I like Kanye’s sneeks because they are just so cool. Anyways, lets just drool over them. Check them out.

Men.Style.Com Women of Fashion 2009

In better late than never news. I know, I know this was ages ago.

Anyways, Kanye West teamed up with Men.Style.Com to select 25 women of fashion at the moment. I mean, say what you want about Kanye West but he does know fashion. Plus, have you seen his current girlfriend? If she is not a face of fashion, I don’t know what is. The event held in Palace Gates at The New York Plaza promised a night of fashion and I got to say it was delivered.

Mr. Kanye West – was incredibly kind to all the guest. He walked the room and chatted with just about anyone who wanted to have a word with him. He mingled with the “common folk” rather than spend his time in the VIP section like rest of the VIPs; well the ones that stayed. Rachel Roy walked the Red Carpet and promptly left the building. I am just saying.  Interestingly enough, everyone was commenting on how kind and easy mannered he was. Ok, since I don’t want mess up with his “rep” I will let you know that he was wearing “timbs” at a fashion show.  Timbs.  And, he wanted everyone to know it. So, there. You’re Gay Fish (look it up)..

In addition Kanye West, the hardest working DJ in show business (DJ Cassidy) showed up, along with Charlotte Ronson, Chanel Iman, Dani Evans, Jason Wu and Fonzworth Bentley and all partied the night away. I hoped they enjoyed the delicious food as I did.
