RSSKidRobot Sample Sale (Jan. 11-13)
A couple of days I had the pleasure of attending an event for Kidrobot at the Soho store. I must admit that I knew very little about the brand- even though I’ve received Kidrobot toys so I was eager to attend. I wanted an opportunity to learn about Kidrobot and see more of the brand as the toys are super cute and funky at the same time.
Kidrobot was founded by designer Paul Budnitz in 2002, with an aim to provide customers with limited edition art toys and apparel. The limited edition clothing and toys comes from Kidrobot vision of combining funky urban street trends, and fashion pop-up art. Kidrobot team of designers and creaters include top international artists from backgrounds as diverse as graffiti, fine art, fashion, industrial design, graphic design, illustration, and music. I got to say that it shows the collection that I saw is fun, funky and cool. Though, I may be just a tad too old to wear them. I kid, well not really but I still found many of the pieces fun.
I had to step away from a wife beater that said “This is your brain on Kidrobot.” The new collection is fun, full of fun designs, cool graffiti prints among other cool merchandise.
