RSSShe-Blogs Launch Party
She-blogs (more on She-blogs later) had its official coming out party last week. The launch party was held at Saks Fifth Avenue. The event featured specialty Belvedere Vodka drinks, food, beauty sessions and music by celebrity DJ Beverly Bond.
The specialty drinks were absolutely wonderful. I had the raspberry inspired drink. I got to say the drink was a ten and as was the music of DJ Beverly Bond. When I was not chatting with old friends or making new friends, I danced to her tunes. I mean how could I not? She was enjoying herself and her spirit to me was contagious. And, it helped set the mood. The vibe was pretty laid back and was a great time to sit, relax and meet inspiring women – doing their thing.
Not surprising though giving that She-blog is a forum for women helping women. She-blogs was founded by Allyson Leak and aims to empower and inspire women to reach for their dreams while maintaining happy and balanced lives. Cheers to that. The online magazine will interview inspirational women from all walks of lives to offer women advice ranging from beauty tips to great fashion to relationship advice.
Notable guests included VJ’s Free and Sway, business man Kwame Jackson, personality Jessica Styles, author Lauren Lake, writer/critic Michaela Angela Davis, and of course She-blogs founder Allyson Leak.
