I tried the whole line and I love the way my hair feels and looks.  Typically, I am unsuccessful in finding an entire hair line that works for my hair. My hair is curly, unruly and full. I have been using Bodycology Soy Milk & Shea Butter bodywash for last couple of weeks and I adore it! As a lady, I am not suppose to tell my age. So, I am told.  That’s okay because this product will definitely aid one in looking youthful.  Now that I am in my 30s, I have been experiencing adult acne.  Can you believe it? It is horrible! One of beautiful thing about being a Fabulous New Yorker is, one has so many options at their  finger tips.  One is ability to see plays but Broadway is not the only place to see an entertaining play.  This past week I traveled to one of less traveled boroughs-Queens.  I saw the DEAD MAN’S CELL produced by Outrageous Fortune company at Queens Theatre in The Park. The theater  is an arts center that houses dance, theater, concerts, family events and performances in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.

DEAD MAN’S CELL,  it’s a hilarious play- I kid you not.  The play is about a middle age man (Gordon) that dies while craving lobster bisque in a café and his phone keeps ringing.  A fellow patron (Jean) can’t handle the annoying ringing and answers the phone.  Later, this phone begins to provide her comfort, knowing Gordon spirit is still alive through people’s attempts to reach him. Odd right… Well, it is a fictitious story but makes it more the fun.  It is a twisted, light hearted comedy.  As the plot develops Jean makes her way into Gordon’s world & family. Jean makes up final gifts (like it is the last supper) for Gordon’s mother, wife, brother and mistress and discovers Gordon was in the business of selling organs…yes organs.

The actors had great comedic timing. There is a scene where Gordon’s brother Dwight and Jean fall in a seemly juvenile love instantly over dinner.  There are so many funny moments, but I don’t want to give away all the punch lines.  I say go see the show!  Although, the show is a comedy…it does deal with serious issues and thoughts. The play scratches the surface on the complex internal problems in marital and family relationship. It causes the audience to question what true love is. The largest issue addressed is how one person can exchange an organ to create love and life for another human begin (is it right to sell an organ, can both parties benefit equally).

The show closes this weekend.  “A poetic and quirky comedy” It a must see !

The play is produced by Ronald B. Hellman  Directed by Bernard Bosio Stage Manager: Lydia Scotti and the talented cast includes: Denise Foire, Ashley Kuske,Janice Bishop,Leslie Swanson,Ross Pivec & Ben Prayz.

Ramscale Studios was the hotspot of the weekend if you knew about it.  Why you ask? Well, because that’s where all the hot people where as they lounged and sun tanned all thanks to the Carrera the makers of the coolest and most sunglasses.  I so want a pair.  Anyways, the weather was perfect for such a fete.  Guests where treated to a hosts of special services just for showing up.

Carrera was founded in the in mid 1950′s with their entrance “in the field of sports glasses, ski goggles and helmets far”  and their extraordinary innovation between sports and passion.  Today the company has build a reputation for safety, innovation, technology and most importantly cool designs.  So, it should come as no suprise that the glasses are often spotted among Hollywood fastest trendsetters; with Jaime Foxx sporting a pair of Carrera’s sunglasses on his video ‘Digital World.’   With that reputation to maintain Carrera set out to make this summer a fun one.

Throughout the summer Carrera has held events in the last weekend of each month to NYC most fabulous people.  This last one was no different and the activities equally fabulous and enticing.  People were often spotted with their bikinis sunbathing and enjoying the great weather.  Additionally, guests were treated to morning Yoga sponsored by David Barton Gym along with healthy smoothies for those so inclined along with spa treatments – mani or a massage.

However, for those wanting the “non-healthy stuff ” had to option of Fuze inspired cocktails with vodka sponsored by Three Olives Vodka on Saturday and on Vodka sponsored by Belvedere on Sunday.  Along with Patron and all the beers to make any beer loving hippie truly happy.  Lastly, no true fun party would be complete without food and so this party too had food which was catered by Go Caterers.  The music included DJ sets by DJ Mia Morreti and DJ Wade Crescent. And, live acoustic performances at the end of the event Papercranes and Diego Garcia.  The sets were a great end to a wonderful event, mellow yet exciting.

Party favors included CK perfumes and Lancaster sun tan lotion to top all the fun.  Carrera couldn’t done it better if they tried.

I recently was grocery shopping at Whole Foods. My cart was full but I knew I was missing one important item “my personal lubricant.” Slightly embarrassed, I went to the Vitamin/Supplement section and asked the clerk whether they carried “lub.” I thought she didn’t hear me and I repeated the question “Do you carry sexual lubricants?” The clerk then directed me to the isle & handed me a tube of Good Clean Love.

I thought to myself – the package is cute, playful but good Lord this is expensive! At $16 for 4 ounces, yikes. Not ready to give up I read the label of ingredients, directions and marketing info. Impressive: Cruelty Free, 99.99% Vegan , 95% Organic, No-Petro-Chemicals , No Parabens ( This is a group of chemicals widely used as preservative in cosmetics). The list got better and better. Ingredients include aloe leaf, rosa flower, deonixed water . To my surprise I could pronounce all the ingredients (that is always a good sign).

It looks, smells, tastes like other lubricant but with something special about it. So I tried the product and absolutely loved it. It felt smooth, had a light natural fragrance, wasn’t sticky & to top it off it was safe for the earth and me!!!!!
