The Best of Fashion Week Suites Continues.

Robert Verdi‘s the “Future of Fashion” suite may have been crown the “best suite” by The Fabulous Report.com but he faced stiff competition to earn that titled.   They were many suites and special previews in around the tents.  Most were quite impressive, full of information and best of all introduced me to new products and services.

For instance,  there was the Spanx suite at the Bryant Park Hotel.   Where, I previewed the new summer collection.  Now,  let me tell you a secret: Spanx is not just for curvy woman;  anyone, can benefit from the sculpting effects. You should too.  I was particularly impressed with their new summer line.  The line is fashionable and uses the same technology Spanx lovers have come to expect.  There’s also a new line called SkinnyBritches, which is AMAZING and is targeted to a younger audience who are afraid of shapewear.  SkinyBritches, feels like your regular underwear. You can layer the pieces to add more shapewear support depending on what you are looking for.  Its amazing, I know I’ve tried it.

There was the Nintendo suite.  I was introduced to the new games in my one-one-session with the “Nintendo” guy such as the cool “Super Mario Brothers” and others.   I  also previewed the latest console though I really can’t say much — as  the man had me sign papers that I wouldn’t discuss with the “public.”   Sad, really because its pretty cool.  I can tell you that guests were able to “trick” their DSi console and/or blackberry with a series of fun images and crystals.   In addition to all the fun Nintendo activities guests were able to get manicures and best of all (for me) guests were able to get make-up treatments using Temptu machines.   I love the Temptu machine.  In no time, I had great coverage and fabulous make-up.  Can I get one? Its seriously amazing.

Then there was the super secret Starbucks booth at the tents but of course TFR knew all about it.   The “in the know” guest were treated to a special session from a Rep and were gifted with some great Starbucks gifts all for trying stuff that I would have tried anyways. Isn’t life grand?  Anyways,  Starbucks, who was on official sponsor of the Spring/Summer 2010 season provided busy fashionistas with their much needed coffee fix with their Frappuccino Light drinks.    Low in calories but still great in taste, even my mother likes and she is a coffee snub.

They were a couple of suites that I was too busy to attend but I am still kicking myself.  Sadly, there’s only so much time in the day.  There’s always next time.
